The impact of your vibration

energy shifts

Do you know the feeling when you walk into a room and you just feel the tension? Or you arrive at a new location and immediately feel relaxed and at home?

Everything is energy—from this phone, tablet or computer you are holding to the food you ate, even your own thoughts, all have a certain vibrational frequency. This frequency is measurable, thanks to the research of Dr. David R. Hawkins. In his book Power vs. Force, he writes about his twenty years of clinical research all across the globe.

His research uses the principle of kinesiology (the study of muscles and their movement, specifically applied to physical conditioning).

Your body knows

Dr. George Goodheart, a pioneer in applied kinesiology, showed “that benign physical stimuli—for instance, beneficial nutritional supplements—would increase the strength of certain indicator muscles, whereas hostile stimuli would cause those muscles to suddenly weaken.

The implication was that at a level far below conceptual consciousness, the body “knew,” and through muscle testing was able to signal, what was good and bad for it.

The classic example…is a universally observed weakening of indicator muscles in the presence of a chemical sweetener; the same muscles strengthen in the presence of a healthful and natural supplement.”

Behavioral kinesiology discovered the same principle was true for emotional and intellectual stimuli.

How does muscle testing work?

Muscle testing is done with your arm held out horizontal—with someone else testing how easy or difficult it is to push your arm down. This is not about physical strength but about pushing just hard enough to test the resistance in the arm.

Smiling will strengthen the muscle (your arm will be difficult to push down) while saying “I hate you” will weaken the muscle.

I’ve tried it myself—it doesn’t matter how strong you or the other person is. Once you think about something sad, your arm becomes surprisingly easy to push down. Muscle testing reveals what your body knows below conscious awareness: beneficial stimuli strengthen muscles, harmful ones weaken them. It’s how Hawkins measured the vibrational frequency of different emotional states

I often use muscle testing to check whether a certain food will support my body. As you may have heard me say before, our body usually knows what is good for us and what is harmful. And this is an easy way to ask that question.

In researching the kinesiological response to truth and falsehood, Hawkins found that a form of collective consciousness seemed to be at work. He used muscle testing to create “a scale of relative truth by which intellectual positions, statements or ideologies could be rated on a range of 1 to 1,000.

One can ask, ‘This item (book, philosophy, teacher) calibrates at 200 (Y/N?): at 250 (Y/N?),’ and so on, until the point of common weak response determines the calibration.”

These calibrations collected during his extensive research were used to create a map of the energy fields of human consciousness.

The frequency of your thoughts & emotions

The energy of our thoughts—of everything in fact—“exists on a quantifiable spectrum where each point on the spectrum has unique qualities” (Weisberger). Just like a certain radio frequency will lead you to a specific radio station, a certain emotion correlates with a specific vibration. Hawkins’ chart illuminates “the scale of consciousness” that ranges from 20 (shame) to 1000 (enlightenment). His research shows, for example, that fear calibrates at 100 whereas love is vibrating at 500.

“The critical response point in the scale of consciousness calibrates at level 200, which is the level associated with integrity and courage. All attitudes, thoughts, feelings, associations, entities, or historical figures below that level of calibration make a person go weak—those that calibrate higher make subjects go strong. This is the balance point between weak and strong attractors, between negative and positive influence.

At the levels below 200, the primary impetus is personal survival…. As one crosses the demarcation between negative and positive influence into Courage, the well-being of others becomes increasingly important.” —David R. Hawkins M.D, Ph.D.

Where empowerment starts

The level of 200 on the scale of consciousness is considered the initial level of empowerment. It’s characterized by the willingness to stop blaming and accept responsibility for one’s own actions, feelings, and beliefs.

TRUTH: Everybody has a base vibration and your experience in life helps you to change and evolve that vibration. Increasing your vibration by even a few points can have a major impact on your physical well-being, your ability to act from love, and your energy level.

In my experience, consciously managing your energy and raising your vibration is one of the fastest ways to create the results you are looking for.

In other words: it’s crucial to vibrate above 200 as it makes life so much easier and fun. The more you can raise your vibration, the more you can use your energy to create the life you want.

As I said before: once you shift your energy, everything changes.

I have seen many instances where once I was able to shift my energy, the entire situation changed with it. Sometimes miraculously so.

Like Sarah said:

“This week, I experienced something life-changing that forced me to confront deep pain I was still carrying. A few things happened that led to an important revelation. But I wasn’t sure how to move forward with this newfound clarity, so I reached out to Iris, who I’ve been working with for a while now. What Iris did in that session was nothing short of incredible. Without giving away all her secrets, Iris helped me uncover the source of that “ugly bugger” hiding inside, causing havoc in my life. She guided me in letting go of that energy, and within an hour, I felt a complete shift. It was a bright, uplifting change that had an immediate effect on my life.

The results were almost unbelievable—an unexpected raise, a dream job opportunity, and an influx of projects I had been chasing for months.

I’ve heard Iris say many times, “When your energy shifts, everything changes.” I didn’t fully understand what that meant until I experienced it myself.”

Next week we’ll look at the benefits of raising your vibration and quick ways to shift your frequency.

* When someone’s muscle goes weak, there is a temporary break in the electrical system of their nervous system, which results in the muscle responding as if it was momentarily “unplugged”. Muscle testing makes the natural break in continuity visible (Weisberger).
