This time of year you need to pay attention. The autumn (or spring) equinox is around the corner—depending on which hemisphere you live in.
The week before and after the equinox our immune system is at its lowest. As the seasons change, our physical body changes with it. So it’s extra important to take good care of yourself and your loved ones.
That’s why I’ve dedicated an entire chapter of my book Radiant: How to Have All the Energy You Need to Live a Life You Love on the seasons and the impact it has on us. Something most of us have forgotten.
If you feel a cold creeping up or are more tired than usual, it’s a sign you need to ease the pressure you are putting on your system. If you continue to overburden yourself, you will pay the price later.
Three quick tips you can use to support yourself now:
1. You can diffuse essential oils to boost your immune system.
Diffusing these oils also helps purify the air by killing bacteria and fungus. Especially cinnamon bark and clove are powerful oils for this purpose. They are wintery spices for a reason.
2. Drink lots of good quality water
This allows your body to clear out everything it is releasing. Remember to steer clear from water that includes chlorine.
3. Ground yourself
When you are centered you are more in touch with your body and will pick up on the first signs of straining yourself. That will allow you to take a break rather than push through and deplete yourself further.
Another way to connect to your body is by meditation.
If you purchase a copy of my book Radiant, you get access to a host of complimentary audios to support you with that 🙂
